After Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and his less than stellar reception, a number of major changes have affected DCEU. Creative CEO Geoff Johns and Warner Bros. VP Jon Berg took command of the comedy division, now called DC Films. The iconic company also unveiled a new logo, which like Batman Superman V is not exactly hit the ball out of the park.
But things can change for the better, when Warner Bros./DC's next big comic romp, Suicide Squad, hits theaters in August.
Like its predecessor, DC and Warner Bros. awaiting any movie details - beyond TV trailers and advertising, at least. It was not to dribble the first reactions of the Suicide Squad on the strip until the film was shown at MCM Comic Con this month in London. But the funny messages to multiple test views took place in the 25th century and XD in Union City. At first glance, the global response to the poor by David Ayer is very encouraging.
A quick look at the field shows a lot of emotion after watching the film. A pre-screener also feel anti-hero of the hull kickoff of DCEU instead of Batman Superman V others have praised the film, saying in general, the first spectators seemed to enjoy global equities "met my expectations" - especially Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Jared Leto (Joker).
On the other side of the coin, the first reviews of Captain America: Civil War did ring true when it comes to general applause at the level of film fans and critics. As Captain America 3 Suicide Squad comes from a source of critical and fan praise. The series of original series has a good point - poorly to do well - and gave lots of interesting stories and anarchists. If Ayer and his cast might be able to get the same series of frenetic energy and psychotic effect would be the first from a strong ring of truth.
